Currently we have no open positions at Paradigma Ariadné but we are always open to work together with interns. Please keep in mind that for full time job the fluency in written and spoken Hungarian language is required.
How
to apply to Paradigma Ariadné?
We put together a guideline for all of you who are considering to apply to us whether you would like to reach us as an intern or someone who is interested in a full time position. We made this guideline to help you and us as well to make it easier to start a conversation about your skills and abilities.
While we think that to put together a portfolio like this is a playful activity, please try to take the guideline as seriously as it is possible. General portfolios are not going to be reviewed.
We ask you to create a pdf portfolio in A4 portrait format that has the following content in the following order:
first page: please indicate your name, studies, work experiences, languages skills, and contacts. You are free to place an image of you, but this is not obligatory.
second page: one visualization of yours that you think as the best of yours
third page: one diagram or concept drawing of yours that you think as the best of yours
fourth page: one technical drawing of yours that is the most complex and detailed one
fifth page: one photo of your physical model that you think as the best of yours
sixth page: name a contemporary text that is related to architecture or urbanism that you can describe as your favorite or most inspiring for you. You can think of an academic publication, but you are free to choose a simple online article or manifesto even. If you have more that you adore, we appreciate that, but please choose only one. If that text is available online, please include a link.
seventh page: name a 20th century text that is related to architecture or urbanism that you can describe as your favorite or most inspiring for you. You can think of an academic publication, but you are free to choose a simple journal article or manifesto even. If you have more that you adore, we appreciate that, but please choose only one. If that text is available online, please include a link.
eighth page: please collect five Instagram channels that you like and would advise to us to follow
ninth page: please rate your skills in Archicad, Photoshop and InDesign from 1 to 10.
tenth page: please write a motivation letter up to 200 words in which you describe anything that you think is related to our future collaboration and to your motivation to work with us.
You can add comments to every of your page. One comment to one page, up to 60 words of each comment. Please use English in the document.
For this portfolio please use only 12pt Times New Roman and next to the asked content do not display anything else, only page numbers. You are free to choose how to arrange the content within one page, and also free to choose any software to create the required pdf.
